I hope you all had a merry, merry Christmas and enjoyed every minute of it and every gift you got!
I felt very spoilt by everybody and I still have more presents coming!
Since I’m still very much in holiday mode, every post lately is mostly just about me and my life which I apologise for, but soon I have some great content coming as 2016 is the year I’m going to start getting serious about blogging, writing and content creating!
So here’s what I got…
As I mentioned in gift guide candles are great as gifts as most people love getting them but won’t always go out and spend money on them! That is me to a T, so I am so excited by these amazing smelling candles I got!
I have two from Dusk: the Sixth Sense Breathe Mini Candle Jar (which are on sale now!) which has such a subtle smell that is unbelievably relaxing even when it’s not burning and the Botanik No.5 Vanilla & Cucumber (also on sale!) which is absolutely amazing to smell as I love vanilla and I love cucumber and mixed together is so good on the nostrils! What’s also awesome about the Botanik range is the pots come with seed disks infused with swan river daisies so the pot can be re-purposed to grow the flowers when the candle is used!
Next is the Rio de Janeiro Passionfruit and Lime candle by Glasshouse which smells amazing – it’s tropical, sweet and fun and beautiful to look at as well!
The front candle is one made locally by a small shop in a small town (an online shop is coming soon) called Molten Love. They make cute home wears and nice smelly things! This candle is gourmet vanilla which has the strongest scent which I love because vanilla is my favourite hands down!
My sisters both know my taste well and lack of bags (and accessories in general, as I’ve said before I need to improve this year!) so they each got these cute bags! The Kardashian Kollection handbag is so cute as I love the size and colour which is perfect for going out! While I have probably been the only girl at my university without a Mimco pouch as they’re so popular at the moment, I’m so glad to finally have one! The Tiny Sparks Pouch has the rose gold logo and is obviously perfect for a night out given how it sparkles.
Tea & Tea Cups!
I didn’t realise everyone knew how much I love my tea but I was not disappointed with the amount of tea I was given! So many nice flavors and the cups are super cute, while one has it’s own infuser which I’m thankful for as most of these teas are herbal!
I am definitely due for a blog post on tea now, hey?
I am a book lover of all sorts and am also starting to love journals! I bought the top journal as a gift for myself because I couldn’t resist how cute it is! I hadn’t yet jumped on the colouring book trend which is everywhere at the moment, but then I saw this book and thought of the bullet journal trend as well and thought this would be a great way to start journaling.
My sister also got me the Habits Journal I’ve been eyeing off by Kikki K (the cutest stationary shop probably ever) because there are habits I need to kick and habits I need to develop and documenting seems to be the only way I can hold myself accountable and get things done!
My boyfriends brother and his girlfriend also got this Lonely Planet travel guide to the world! I am so excited by this book to pick out my next travel destinations as it is so thick with so much in it!
Now I finally have a Fitbit to motivate myself to actually get out and do something for my body (a goal I had for the Christmas break). It’s been fantastic so far, as since I put it on I have been for a walk everyday and have done small workouts so I am very pleased with the Fitbit and myself so far.
So that’s some of the best stuff I got this Christmas! What did you get for Christmas?
